Recitations
The results of our fall gup test are in from HQ, and promotions will start this week! Congratulation to Giacomo, Sam, Ivan, Ravi, Keira, and Daniel for your excellent test performances!
During your promotion, be prepared to recite the meanings of your belts! You can find them in your Gup Manual and in the Um Yang app. Treat them like the poetry that they are, and reflect on how you relate to them.
Addendum
Speaking of the WTSDA Gup manual, there is a new 2025 edition, with some crucial changes and signification additions. Ms. Aida Good kindly shared her addendum with me, which I've printed out and will be giving to students. Please bring your Gup manual to class this week, so that we can review the changes together.
Thanksgiving
… is fast approaching! Obviously, Good Wolf is closed that Thursday, but what about the rest of the week? I know SFUSD takes the full week off, and many families leave town. I also know some college students are returning to the Bay Area. It would be great for the SF@WTSDA family to reunite, catch up, and train together!
And so, who can join us on Monday Nov 24th and/or Tuesday Nov 25th?
