2026-10 Fall Wolf Pups Update
We are halfway through our first Wolf Pups (Tiger/Dragon) session at Good Wolf- and what a fantastic few weeks it has been!
In our first two weeks, students learned several basic blocks and kicks, which were practiced through targeting drills. Students earned their green stripe for showing understanding of these techniques. This past week, we started two new focuses: stances and safety skills! Thank you parents for stepping in to help with our safety activity and acting as a safe person for your students.
Most importantly, we have been having FUN! I'm looking forward to getting increasingly creative with our obstacle courses to start off class.
Looking ahead, we will start putting together the pieces we have been learning. We will continue reviewing our basic blocks and kicks, and work towards combining those with stances. As a reminder, students have the opportunity to earn their yellow stripe next week by learning the phone number of a parent or safe adult. As always, we're keeping an eye out for amazing attitudes and respect to earn red stripes.
I've been greatly enjoying this session, and I'm appreciative of our families for being supportive as we work out the flow of these classes. See you next week!

p.s. some admin tidbits from mr.cooley
- I'm gonna reverse myself and ask for no snacks in the dojang. Trying to be mindful of distractions.
- I added you to this newsletter, meant for parents of Wolf Pup students. If you would like to change this, please let me know.
And let me echo Ms Gibson and say thank you!
