Inner Sunset Flea Market

We have been having a blast at the Inner Sunset Flea Markets this year, and the last one for 2026 is Sunday November 8th, 10am-4pm. Please join us as we chat with our neighbors about martial arts and teach them how to break wood. For this last event, we're also going to be demonstrating our own board breaks!

Quarterly Kihaps

Region 1 has started a new opportunity for advanced ranks to train together, both in-person and virtually. Our first quarterly kihap is Friday evening, November 13th. I'm looking to secure the studio space, but we can also jump online at home.

Ms Wen Promotion

We're fast approaching the end of her 6 month probation as yu dan ja, and at the end of class on Thursday, November 19th, we will officially promote her to Cho Dan, stripe on her belt, and present her certificate. Please join us in class that night and cheer her on!

Good Dragon Clinics

Ms Aida Good, of Good Dragon Tang Soo Do, is hosting a set of clinics on Saturday, November 21st in Novato CA. She says "The morning session will include ki gong, leadership training & adaptive martial arts. The afternoon session will be focused on sparring. There will be a break mid-day for lunch on your own. The morning session is open to any adult who may wish to attend. They do not have to be WTSDA members. The afternoon session is open to WTSDA adult gup and dan members. Children who are WTSDA  members and green belt and above may attend either session."

Heads Up for 2027

I don't have more details yet about our regional events in 2027, other than we have committed to these dates and locations, so block them off on your calendar now! And I know we are planning even more events, so stay tuned!

Wolf Pups

Ms Louisa Gibson and I just finished our first session of our Wolf Pups kids program, aimed at ages 5 and up. Our goal is to introduce our basic white belt materials to a younger audience, such that at their completion, they are promoted to 8th Gup orange belt, and can graduate into our Gup classes. We have learned a lot from this first session, and are excited to expand the program in the new year.

Aaawooo Tang Soo!
