2025 Fall Events
The last few weeks have been a whirlwind of activity. First, I drove Ms. Cooley back to San Diego for her third year at school. Next I flew up to Vancouver for Ms. Ana's Cho Dan test and our Region 1 PNW Invitational tournament and clinic. And this last weekend, I flew back down to San Diego for Ms. Cooley's promotion to e dan at Region 20's tournament. Can I get a "woof!"?!
There are two more events on the Good Wolf calendar in 2025.
Gup Test and Promotion Ceremony
On November 8th, Good Wolf will conduct its Fall Gup test 12:30-4pm. Continue to practice your materials and bring your best tang soo do spirit to class. I will be identifying candidates over the next few weeks.
Save the date! As is custom, cho dan bo will be proctoring.
Good Dragon TSD Training Event
On November 15th and 16th, our friend Ms. Aida Good, Good Dragon TSD, is hosting a training event in Novato CA. She has crafted several sessions to appeal to all ages. Non-WTSDA students (that includes YOU, parents!) are welcome to participate, too!!
- Split Second Survival is open to any adult participants, and WTSDA black belts over the age of 16.
- Board Breaking is limited to WTSDA dan or gup members only.
- Creativity is limited to WTSDA dan or gup members and is intended for individuals under the age of 18. Participants in this activity will also attend the Creativity afternoon session, during which they will create a demo-type form to be presented to all event participants at the end of the day.
- Adaptive Martial Arts is open to any participant regardless of age, experience or ability level.
- Chi Gong is open to any participant regardless of age, experience or ability level.
Lunch may be pre-ordered for one or both days, or you can bring your own. Also, I have room in my car for 3 people, please ping me if you'd like a ride!
